I had SUCH an AMAZING TIME this last weekend!!!

I want to THANK my Directors and Staff at VANBROS & ASSOCIATES!! John, Jason, Jennifer, Janet & Sherri ~ You'all are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! You are so kind and giving to create this training for us! Not to mention for giving us the chance to "bond" as well before the national experience! You have an incredible group of gals and as Ive said before, we are blessed to have such continued support from all of you!

Janet, Thanks for the chauffeur service ;)- Just Kidding, Thank You for dedicating your time and miles to us this past weekend! I loved making you giggle!! Your the best chaperon ever! ;)-

TO KANSAS this weekend for Mrs. United States Boot camp!!!

My director Jon and his amazing team has created a "BOOT CAMP" for his Mrs Girls and it is this weekend!! I am excited to see everyone AND get to meet some of my sister queens!!

I will make sure to take lots of pictures to share with you'all!!

Speaking of their amazing team, last week my gown just seemed to "arrive" at their store!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Wardrobe The Boutique together with Tony Bowls have sponsored my Mrs. United States gown and it is breathtaking on me!! YEAH!!! I can not wait to show it to my director!! Stefanie Sombers has also started creating my gown jewlery and I can not wait to see what she creates!!

My Swim was ordered and I CAN NOT WAIT to see that as well, Swim is my favorite part of the competition so I'm really looking forward to seeing the creation John and ALLYCE KING SWIM has created for me!

I have booked my reservations and my family's travel arrangements I have even booked our puppies! This just seems to easy... I feel like I should be running and gunning? Is it me or am I missing something ;)- ?? NOPE... Nothing :) That's because of my WONDERFUL director and staff John and the Vanbros Team!! They are at on the ball! Thank You!!

The 25th anniversary Mrs. United States 2011 pageant will be held at the beautiful Las Vegas Hilton resort August 3rd & 4th!!!

I have just arranged my stay in Vegas for that week and am looking forward to meeting all the contestants & their families! But REALLY looking forward to seeing all my  friends & family in Vegas!! PS- Does anyone know of a babysitter for some adults since I'll be a little pre-occupied and don't want to lose my husband, father, my father-in-law & my "Poppy" in Vegas together at once! ;)- jk!lol!

My first Sunday morning as Mrs. Texas United States...

Sunday Morning I awoke like a TRUE "Queen!" WOW! My Mrs. Texas Photo Shoot began at 7 am with Hair & Make Up by the FAMOUS Lisa Proctor!! Lisa will be my official hair & make-up stylist for my entire trip in Vegas as I compete for the title of Mrs. United States! While I was in the precious hands of  Lisa, John, My State Director, entered the room with PILES of goodies from all my sponsors!! WOW!! WOW!!!

I first jumped into my cozy BLINGED OUT robe from The Bling Thing as I sat under the lights and was pampered!! Then all my GORGEOUS wardrobe selections were given to me for Vegas! John did an INCREDIBLE job picking out all my clothes!! WOW!! I wish he lived in my closet! lol ;) JK John!
Then together we all chose my BREATHTAKING gown sponsored by The Wardrobe Boutique & Tony Bowls!! I CAN NOT WAIT to try it on!!  Next we chose my swimsuit sponsored by Allyce King Swim!!

I was entirely spoiled with BOXES & BOXES of goodies to list them all! WOW! Just amazing!

My photo shoot with photographer & sponsor WILL PATTERSON was SO much fun!!! He did an incredible job & made me laugh a ton! I LOVE MY Photos Will~ Thank You!

Let the SHOW begin...

The show Saturday went by so fast!!

The show was incredible! It went so well! All of us girls ( Including me!:) completed the opening number without a major crash! ;) I was so proud - to me the opening number is the most nerve racking, cause I can NOT dance! lol! We all got along so great and helped each other through out backstage, we all helped each other getting down those metal stairs in our spiked heals (challenge for some of us!) and each of us did an INCREDIBLE job "strutting our stuff!"

The show went straight from 7 to 3! That is when I started feeling the nerves! :0 I was second to be called out of Joy & Kayla! Then we went straight into our 3 on stage questions! We all did FABULOUS answering our questions! My questions were: 1) If I were to start charity describe it 2) Who do I most admire & 3) What is the most important lesson I would teach my child! After the questions was a quick break than awards!

Once Kayla was called for 2nd runner-up, It was down to Joy & I! When they called Joy's name for Runner-Up it tricked me and I didn't realize that I had won! LOL! I don't think it hit home until I laid in bed that night!

I would've not liked to be a judge, that was a hard choice to chose just one, THANK YOU SO MUCH for choosing me as your Mrs. Texas!

I apologize if I was not 100% myself some Saturday. My poor little guy awoke that morning with a mild fever and extremely cranky ;( I knew I had to get my head back in the game but as a "mommy" I felt horrible because when he starts to get sick I'm the only person he wants ( But he did get to come to the show still & My poor husband had to chase him around the theatre! Because even though he didn't feel great, as a 2 yr old he still wanted to play and run and not be confined to a seat! lol... My sincere apologize for those that sat around him :)- lol! But it was SO great to hear him screaming "Go Mommy! Go!" :) Made me feel wonderful!

I'd like to Thank My family for coming out and supporting me & "Frankie" of Frankie Couture gowns! For all the moral support and help through out the preparation, for getting it "right on!" once again with my gown selection, and for your continued friendship! I pray you can come to nationals to cheer me on! :)

The State Competition May 14, 2011

The Competition  began Friday May 13, 2011... With registration, rehearsals, and our local Title Holder Photos!  There were 7 AMAZING contestants! I am very HONORED the judges selected me out of these 7 amazingly fit gals! I made allot of new friends, which was really neat because half of the girls live in surrounding area, and am sure will see soon!

Vanbros & Associates made the weekend very relaxing for us contestants! We were able to share allot of time with our families, and as a "Mrs." contestant this was important, especially those of us with little ones! ;) After Registration we began with rehearsals, with OKC's famous pageant coreograher "Rock star" Wade! He made rehearsals allot of fun! Even for the ONLY girl with 2 left feet in the competition ~ me! ;) Thank You for being so patient girls & Wade! ;)

Saturday Morning we began with our one-on-one  interviews with our WONDERFUL judges at 9am! I was the FIRST contestant,  but the judges were incredibly sweet so it made it very comfortable to go first! After interviews we had several hours to prepare ourselves for more rehearsals & to head to the theatre to prepare for the show!

I just want to say "Thank You Again!" to all the incredible girls! Thank You for your congratulatory support and your many weekend laughs! I hope we all continue to stay in touch & hope to see you again on the stage next year!!
