 This past Thursday afternoon I was honored to meet Mrs. Langford's 1st Grade Classroom at TCS in Sherman! Together we practiced our listening skills and took turns asking questions and answering to get to know each other well! My princess Maddie and I chose a Dr. Suess book, "Would You Rather be a Bullfrog?" to donate and autograph for their classroom! They also really enjoyed my fall choice " Fall Mixed Up" by Bob Raczka, They LOVED getting so involved in the book! We also had a picture and autograph session and the kids asked me some great questions! THIS is what I most enjoy about life as Mrs. Texas, I would have to say.... These kids are amazing! ;) Thank You for having my Mrs. Langford and All you VERY special 1st graders at TCS!

MEF Casino Night & Galla

Last Saturday my husband and I, along with a few friends, attending the MEF Casino and Galla Night. Our Family's business, Royal Case Company, also sponsored a Black Jack table! We all had a great time but most importantly had fun while contributing to a great foundation! Thank You Kelly Maynard for involving Mrs. Texas and  for such wonderful hospitality! MEF raised over $30,000 for Scholarships to be given to our Melissa Intermediate School District Children! I LOVE attending local events, not only because I can involve my family and friends, but because you get to SEE the rewards of charity!

TEXAS, Third Runner Up, Mrs. United States 2011!

Hello All! Sorry about the delay in updates. Since returning home from Vegas I have been a very busy gal, but I am so honored to report that I placed 3rd Runner Up at the 25th Annual Mrs. United States Pageant in Las Vegas! I really enjoyed meeting the girls, competing, and spending time with my family. The time I spent in Vegas, FLEW by! I am so grateful for the love and support of my family and friends! Not only those that were able to travel to cheer me on, but those who held down my fortress in my absence! ;) Also all those cheering me on and wishing me well! It really means to much to have those behind you! Instead of focusing on the prize, I focused on soaking in every moment of my national experience, and I think it worked in my favor. I want to Thank ALL my sponsors, especially my directors and staff , VANBROS, for making this experience...truly one to cherish!

This morning we had an individual and group photoshoot and now rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal! Until this evening interviews at 9:45pm! ;) I really enjoy interview so aim looking forward to it!! Than a spray tan before bed! ;)

Another Year Older, Another Year Wiser...

I want to THANK EVERYONE for ALL the AMAZING Birthday Wishes!!! Truly meant the world to me! Especially my husband, Zoli, for making this past holiday weekend and my 31st so special! Thank You for making me feel like a princess ~  I Love You!

My family came down to McKinney so we could do the traditional "Family Birthday Dinner"! I was surprised everyone took the time out of practice, sports, church, etc to come down and share with me! Incredible I do have the most amazing Texas Family! Thank You! xo

But I did want to share something special to me...

Yesterday was a big moment for me, I grew as a mom spiritually. Usually I wish for something I've wanted to improve on individually, but last night as I ( well  my 2 yr old little guy) blew out my candles... I wished for something more special and way larger than me! I think I finally grew up mom! ;)- But in all honesty, It was very special to me to realize my growth!

Well just another 364 more days til next  year ;)- lol
